The Shutter Speed

When doing photography, the shutter speed is the amount of time a film or sensor inside of a camera is exposed and in contact with light, also when  camera shutter speed is open when taking a photograph. This is the speed at which the photo is taken, if it is taken fast you see every piece of detail for example, rain, you will see every little rain drop fall.

The ISO

If you change the ISO setting you are adjusting the camera sensitivity to light. The lower the ISO number the less sensitive the camera is to light. If the ISO number increases the sensitivity of the camera. The higher the ISO number, the brighter the image. The lower the ISO number the darker the image.

The Aperture

An aperture, is the opening hole or gap within the mechanical side of a camera. The aperture is measured in F-stops, e.g. a large aperture is f/20, f2.8. Having a large aperture lets more light in. For example a larger aperture is f/11, f/16, f/22, when you have a small aperture it lets less light into the camera. If the image is too light, all you need to do is change it to a smaller aperture which will make the photograph darker.
